Ms. Tetee Karneh - IMPACT PLAYER OF THE WEEK

The News Department of Liberia Broadcasting System like any other is the nucleus or the nerve center of the system. It never sleeps; so too are the reporters, writers, newscasters and editors. Each working overtime to break the news or go beyond the surface of the story to dig up the issue.

Thus each news personnel see as a challenge not only from their colleagues of other media institutions, but those of the same system they work. This makes it even more challenging because each one wants to beat other on a daily or weekly basis.
Considering all the factors, the head of the News Department, D. Adolphus Taylor deems it compelling to choose Ms. Tetee Karneh as News Personality of the week.

Ms. Karneh has worked for the Liberia Broadcasting System for a protracted period serving in various capacities: News Writer, Editor-In-Chief, Senior Newscaster, Director of News and Director of Public Affairs, etc.

She joined the System in 1993 and left the for exile during the heat of the Liberian Crisis in 2000. Since she rejoined the System in February of this year, she has continued to perform exceptional..
