Let's Talk Phone-In Program
The Monday, October 29, 2007 edition of the program, “Let’s Talk” hosted District #1 Representative, Hon. Alomezi Ennos Bah.
Representative Bah, who is currently on her agriculture break, like other members of the National Legislature, is at the moment, engaging members of her constituency on a number of development undertakings.
She outlined the construction of hand pumps, pit latrines, school buildings and clinics as priority projects for District #1 during the break.
The District #1 Representative used the program to call on members of opposition political parties to give support to the Unity Party –led government in its efforts to improve the living standards of the Liberian people.
She spoke about plains to set up a District Development Council, which, she said, will be responsible for the implementation of all development programs for the district.
There is also a plan to restore a small television service (about 5000 KW) in and around the capital city, Monrovia. This is the beginning of greater opportunity for the LBS family and the people of Liberia. We look forward to seeing the future of the Liberia Broadcoasting System in which her prewar facilities and equipment will once again be restored all around the country but this time with modern digital equipment. |
