Julu and Dorbor win treason case….
The Liberian Government says it welcomes the acquittal of Messers. Charles Julu and Andrew Dorbor by the Supreme Court.

Speaking Monday following a three week visit to Denmark and the United States of America, President Sirleaf, said the release of Mr. Julu and Mr.Dorbor, tells Liberians and the International Community that her Government is committed to upholding democracy and human rights.

She said government will continue fostering what she calls, the core value of the rule of law, good governance, social justice and equality.

At the same time, President Sirleaf, says while in the US, she met with some officials of the United States Government about the possible assistance for Liberia.
She noted that, Liberia is likely to be included on President Bush’s 770 million United States Dollars initiative to assist countries struggling with the rising price of food around the world.
