Pres Press Sec. stresses Pres. Sirleaf’s stance on Corruption
Presidential Press secretary Cyrus Badio says President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf’s clampdown on financial malpractices and other forms of corruption remains in force.
According to Mr. Badio, President Johnson-Sirleaf has re-affirmed government’s preparedness in fighting corruption and other negative tendencies wherever they exist.
The Presidential Press secretary quotes President Johnson Sirleaf as saying it is time for serious business and will not condone acts that tend to retard its on-going development drive.
The Liberian Chief Executive is at the same time calling on Liberians, to get involved in activities aimed at national growth and recovery, and denounce tendencies inimical to the country’s development agenda.
Mr. Badio spoke Monday at his regular Press Briefing at the foreign Ministry.
