Govt design new strategy to curb rape…
The Liberian Government says, it will shortly publish names of convicted rapists in local dailies.
According to President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, the move is to discourage rape across the country.
Speaking Saturday at a cabinet retreat in Kakata city, the Liberian leader said government will continue to design strategies that will protect lives and properties and promote equality, freedom, and human rights.
President Johnson-Sirleaf said government will also reverse to the principles and policies applied in the good old days where individuals engage in corruption, financial malpractices and other social vices where made to clean the street.
The Liberian chief executive said, this will help minimize corruption and other criminal activities across Liberia .
