President Sirleaf admonishes citizens to be God fearing…
President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf has renewed calls for commitment, hard work and honesty in building a new Liberia.
According to President Johnson Sirleaf, Liberia’s rebirth agenda can become a reality only with the ingredients of hard work dedication and sincerity.
Speaking Wednesday at a Thanksgiving Service at the Faith Healing Temple on the Bushrod Island, as part of programs marking her 70th Birth Anniversary, President Johnson Sirleaf admonished Liberians to be God-fearing and cautioned the religious community to continue their prayers and supplications for God’s blessings.
The Liberian Leader also cautioned parents to reverse to the teachings of moral values and virtues, coupled with hard work to their children, whom she described as the cream and engine of growth in any society.
President Johnson Sirleaf also speaking to scores of youths in the C. Cecil Dennis Auditorium at the Foreign Ministry said, lifting Liberia from the shadows of poverty to economic viability is the collective responsibility of every Liberian but stressed active youthful participation in the exercise.
The Liberian Leader said, Liberia under her administration is in good hands and will continue to lead the way in inspiring youths for future leadership challenges.
