Foreign Minister Akerele hosts Int’l women press conference…
The International Women’s Colloquium, will host a major press conference today at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

According to the release, the International Women Colloquium co-chairpersons, Foreign Minister Olubanke King-Akerele and Gender Minister Varbah Gayflor, will address the press conference at the Foreign Ministry.

The release quotes the International Women Colloquium media advisory as saying; the conference will discuss the agenda and the Colloquium’s intent and strategic plan of action.

President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf and the President of Finland, Tarja Halonen are due to convene a summit of the International Women Colloquium in Liberia from March 7-8, 2009.
