Photo Journalist’s Camera seized …
Chief Justice, Johnnie Lewis, on Thursday ordered the seizure of a camera belonging to Daily Observer Photo Journalist, Sando Moore, after observing a camera shot at him, while disembarking his vehicle at the Temple of Justice.
Our Reporter said the Photo Journalist admitted taking the Chief Justice’s photo because he is a public figure and it could have been used for any publication.
The incident, according to our reporter, was a dramatic scene when Journalist Moore tussled with UN Security Guards to protect his camera from being taken away.
The Chief Justice has often warned Journalists not to use his photos on stories that do not involve him and not to miss-spell his name, something he threatened a thirty-day jail sentence for.
Meanwhile, Photo Journalist Sando Moore has described Chief Justice’s latest action against him as inhumane to the media and vowed to consult his lawyer on his next course of action.
