SINGAPORE – Cricket fans in Singapore will be able to catch the T20 World Cup from October 17 to November 14 on StarHub, which announced on Friday (October 15) that it will broadcast all 45 matches live via the Hotstar video streaming app.

As the only Hotstar local telecommunications partner, available on the StarHub TV + platform, it will offer customers with an Indian + subscription free access to all matches. Indian + is a package with access to live cricket and over 85,000 hours of entertainment in Tamil and Hindi from Star TV shows, Hotstar exclusive promotions, Bollywood movies and more.

Co-hosted in the United Arab Emirates and Oman, the T20 World Cup kicks off Sunday with Oman against Papua New Guinea.

The first round of action from Sunday to Friday will see eight nations compete in two groups, from which the top two in each group will advance to the Super 12 section, which consists of two groups of six.

The top two from each group will then advance to the semi-finals, from which the winners will face off in the final on November 14 at Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

The West Indies are the reigning champions after winning their second title in 2016.

New StarHub customers can purchase the Indian + plan for $ 15 per month and enjoy Hotstar at no additional cost.
