The Life is Beautiful The announcement of the festival’s lineup this week captured the attention of potential visitors to Vegas and locals who have become accustomed to attending the unique downtown event. The 2020 festival has been canceled without ever revealing its lineup, and this year’s roster, set to perform Sept. 17-19, is headlined by Billie Eilish, Green day, Taming Impala and A $ AP Rocky. A handful of LIB’s dance and hip-hop music artists are also recognizable as regular players on the Las Vegas Strip nightclub circuit, including Francois Dillon, Sinner, Ludacris and Species Species. The Zappos Theater mini hard rockers residence Scorpions with special guests Queensryche has been postponed from its already rescheduled May debut to March 26 through April 16, 2022. There are eight shows scheduled for the Planet Hollywood Resort venue and tickets are on sale now.

In another look forward, Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas has booked its first show in a year, an alternative rock team from Dinosaur Jr. and Built to overthrow on February 4, 2022. Located on the Strip along Linq Drive, the beloved Bowl has not reopened at all since it closed last year and the next upcoming event on the current schedule is Batman chicano with Butchers May 21.

Faaabulous! The show, The drag show that opens this weekend at Notoriety Live downtown, turns into a fun brunch later this month. Christophe kenney, known for playing “Mistress of Sensuality” Edie in Cirque du Soleil’s shuttered production “Zumanity”, co-created “Faaabulous! »And will team up with some of his stars, Vita summers and Dusty muffin, for a drag brunch show at the Stirling club March 21 at noon. A percentage of ticket sales will benefit Golden Rainbow to provide necessary services and financial assistance to residents of southern Nevada affected by HIV and AIDS. Tickets are $ 85, including unlimited champagne and a three-course brunch menu, and they’re available online here. Meanwhile, “Faaabulous!” is set at 8 p.m. on Friday at Notoriety in Neonopolis.

Other live entertainment options this weekend on and off the Strip include reopening Jabbawockeez show “Timeless” to MGM Grand Garden Arena; Eric Jordan Young and Philippe Fortenberry perform the new “In This Moment” at space Saturday; sensational singers Patrice Petway Compton and Frank Lawson teaming up for another original musical effort, “It Takes Two”, at the Vegas room Friday; and favorite strip lounge Michel monge to Italian-American Club on Sunday.
