GAME Of Thrones star John Bradley paid tribute to his on-screen mentor Peter Vaughan after his death at the age of 93.

John, who plays the shy and thoughtful Samwell Tarly on the hit HBO series, said Peter can “terrify and enchant in equal measure.”

Peter has appeared in four Game Of Thrones series as Maester Aemon, the blind and scholarly mentor and guide of Tarly and Jon Snow (Kit Harington) after the young men joined the Night’s Watch.

John said he was “very sad to learn of the passing of Peter Vaughan”, adding that he had learned a lot from his former co-star.

“His enthusiasm, passion and kindness were matched only by the power and precision of his performance.”

In the second eviction, which saw model Lisa Snowdon sent home, Scarlett again topped the vote with 21%.

She turned out to be the most popular contestant in the entire series and by the time she landed in the bottom three with comedian Joel Dommett and soap star Adam Thomas, she was getting 40% of the vote.

ADELE and Beyonce will compete for the top three awards at the 2017 Grammys, where David Bowie won a string of nominations for his latest album Blackstar.

Bowie, who died of cancer in January at the age of 69, is vying for four gongs at the biggest music awards ceremony, including best rock performance, rock song and the alternative music album.

Adele received five nominations, including 25 for Album of the Year and her hit single Hello nominated for Record and Song of the Year.

She will compete for the top three awards with Beyonce, who won the most nominations with nine, following her famous visual album Lemonade.
