Rain and poor light were felt during the first 3 days of the World Testing Championship (WTC) final and the forecast for the fourth day is not promising either.
According to the UK Met Department, it will be cloudy throughout Monday with heavy showers continuing to push north. Showers will become lighter in the late afternoon but cloud cover will remain.
Southampton Weather Forecast Day 4
The first day of the historic Test was completely erased, while 64.4 overs of play were possible on Saturday. On Day 3 Sunday, nearly 78 overs were played at the Rose Bowl.
New Zealand beat India for 217 in the opening innings and then scored 101 points for the loss of 2 wickets. Kane Williamson and Ross Taylor will pick up the bat for the Kiwis as play begins on Monday. If there is no rain and the outfield is not wet, day 4 will begin at 3:00 p.m. IST.
